Inter vs Roma Preview :

Inter Milan will be bolstered through the return of midfielder Dejan Stankovic for Wednesday's Coppa Italia match against Roma.

Stankovic has recovered from a muscular injury and will feature in the semi-final return leg in the San Siro.

The Serbian midfielder scored the only goal in last month's first leg in Rome that handed Leonardo's side top of the submit the tie.

Despite carrying a narrow advantage into the second leg, Inter captain Javier Zanetti expects a battle.

"We have to overlook the derive from the opening leg and focus on beating Roma," he said. "Both teams are hungry to reach the final and I'm sure Roma can make life difficult for us.

"But it is really an important competition for all of us and that we want to defend this title."

If Inter are successful, they will meet either Palermo or AC Milan in the final in Rome later this month.

The Nerazzurri, who beat Roma in last season's final, get into Wednesday's showdown, having guaranteed their automatic devote the Champions League after a 3-1 triumph over Fiorentina last time out.

Inter are second in Serie A, four points free from third-placed Napoli with two games remaining.

"We want to end the season within the most effective way," Zanetti said.

"Our aims are to finish runners-up within the league and clinch the Coppa Italia."

Roma, meanwhile, held AC Milan to some goalless draw at the weekend to stay within the race for any top-four finish.

That result in Rome also allowed Milan to secure the their first Serie A title since 2004.

With two games to get in Serie A, Roma are fifth in the standings, level on 60 points with city rivals Lazio and merely two points behind Udinese, who're fourth and contain the last Champions League qualifying spot.

Roma travel to Milan without suspended Francesco Totti and Rodrigo Taddei as well as injured Matteo Brighi and Philippe Mexes.

However, Roma coach Vincenzo Montella is upbeat about his team's chances.

"Despite those absences, I truly believe you can beat Inter," he explained. "It's going to be a hard game but we will give our all to turn the tie around."

Inter is going to be without injured winger Wesley Sneijder while Andrea Ranocchia serves a one-match ban.
